Kelli was born in Manchester, England and moved with her family to Australia in 1991. She completed secondary school on the Sunshine Coast and then completed a Bachelor of Science (Biomedical Science) at the University of the Sunshine Coast in 2003.

Kelli then commenced her Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology. In 2006, Kelli was offered an internship at O'Neill Patient Solicitors in Manchester, England and subsequently took a year out of her Bachelor studies to take up a paralegal role in their litigation team.

Kelli returned to her legal studies in late 2006 and in 2008 completed her Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law Queensland.

Kelli started working in Family Law and Criminal Law in late 2006 and became part of the team at Smith & Associates in January 2008. Kelli was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in June 2008.

In January 2009, Kelli went to England to be married, living and working there for nearly 2 years. Kelli is also admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales.

Kelli returned to Smith & Associates in January 2011, and now heads up our Cleveland Office. Kelli specialises in Family Law and Criminal Law and is a qualified Duty Lawyer, servicing the Cleveland Magistrates Court and Cleveland and Wynnum Childrens Courts on a regular basis.
