Luke graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws in 1991. He was admitted to practice in 1993 after completion of articles of clerkship and in 1999, Luke acheived qualification as an Accredited Family Law Specialist.

Luke has worked in various positions throughout his career, from suburban legal aid practice, to CBD private practice. In 2007, he purchased Smith & Associates Solicitors and moved into practice in his own right.

Luke has over 16 years experience in Family Law and this experience, coupled with his exceptional advocacy skills, make Luke a sought after family lawyer.
